Not {Another} Manic Monday – Toys

Not Another Manic Monday

The last several weeks I’ve prepped for Monday’s by eating a lot of ice cream the night before and pretending it wasn’t coming. I love our weekends. I love having my hubby home, and I love having a little bit of a break from my girls while they have daddy/daughter time.

Since I have to live in reality, I decided simplifying our lives would make an easier week. A more enjoyable week. I’m working hard to live for each day, and not just for the weekends.

“Find a job you like and you add five days to every week.” – H. Jackson Brown, Jr.

Each Monday I’m going to post a goal for a more simplified week. I’ll decide the weekend before the thing/task/change/etc that would make our lives easier, and Monday’s more bearable.

This week:

Culling, De-cluttering and Simplifying Toys

  1. I found you!!!:-) Beautiful website, I’m looking forward to reading everything this evening after work! Your girls are so big now and such sweeties!:-) Hugs from Sweden, Kristina

    • Thanks for stopping by Becca! The decluttering went really well. A lot less toys seemed to free my oldest daughters mind up for play. Plus, now my 10 month old can find her own toys. Then of course my entire family got fevers and have been out of commission for two weeks. Thankfully everyone is back to normal now. The best thing was. After everyone was feeling better I was able to bring back “forgotten” toys (toys that I saved to rotate) and take out the toys they had been playing with through the sickness (and wash them) and it was like their birthday’s, they were thrilled.
